Some details about court forms and their uses





There may be many situations where one person find difficult to find the perfect lawyer to represent a case in the court. That problem is kind of unique one, but not impossible. This may happen to any individual. Then the person will be in bewilderment as to what to do. Which course of action should he take? The only way in this situation is to defend own case in the court. Defending individual’s own case in court is known as “Pro se” in the legal terms. The legal department allows a person to defend his case if there is no lawyer who is ready to present the person. The person first needs to know court tactics for pro se litigants course. This course allows the willing persons to let them know certain points of court tactics. The court tactics are somewhat intricate and the person should know them before representing himself in the court.
Several kinds of forms:
There are some forms included in the process of self representing matter. The forms should be filled up correctly and clearly before submitting them to the court. One may bring some sample court forms for the easy convenience of filling them up later. But the forms have to be submitted to the court. The self representation will not be processed. There are many types of forms available in the courts. The forms are like:
·         Filing information sheet: the filing of this form is required because of the information that is necessary in the case. The form is required in every case. The responsible parties are responsible for the filling up of the form with appropriate forms.
·         Adult abuse forms: this form is used by a person in protection purpose. If one feels threatened from a particular person, who is an adult then the person can submit this form for protection. The order of protection can be issued up to mainly 180 days. But thin does not cross the time period of 1 year.
·         Child protection forms: a person needs to file this form in behalf of a child. The child must be a victim of stalking or child abuse. The one who is submitting the form must be the parent or the guardian of the child.
·         Child support forms: these forms are used to support a child in financial matter.
·         Civil forms: these forms are used for the main purpose of civil legal actions.
·         Collections program: this form is used for the tax collection program.
·         Criminal forms: there are many forms available in the criminal forms section. These are used to file criminal charges against someone.
·         Family access forms
·         General forms: the general forms are used in many legal actions.
·         Probate forms: there are many forms available in this action. These are mainly used in transferring the possessions of a deceased person.
·         Small claims forms: the small claim forms deal with the claim for money. The upper limit of the money does not exceed the five thousand dollar margin.
